WHO/Europe studies find baby foods are high in sugar and inappropriately marketed for babies

Two new studies from WHO/Europe show that a high proportion of baby foods are incorrectly marketed as suitable for infants under the age of 6 months, and that many of those foods contain inappropriately high levels of sugar. WHO highlights huge scale of tobacco-related lung disease deaths

Ahead of World No Tobacco Day (31 May), the World Health Organization is highlighting the damage tobacco causes to lung health: over 40% of all tobacco-related deaths are from lung diseases like cancer, chronic respiratory diseases and tuberculosis. WHO draws attention to death toll from tobacco-related lung diseases

On World No Tobacco Day (31 May), the World Health Organization draws attention to the damage caused by tobacco to lung health: more than 40% of tobacco-related deaths are attributable to lung diseases such as cancer, chronic respiratory diseases, and tuberculosis.
