Health-Promoting Churches volume II: A handbook to accompany churches in establishing and running sustainable health promotion ministries

With an endorsement from the WHO Director General and available in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese, this handbook builds on the earlier volume and helps churches to move from knowledge to action. Steering away from technical jargon, it provides hands-on guide from "Getting started", baseline assessment, establishing a church health committee, to impact evaluation. This handbook was developed from experiences of churches in Tonga, USA, Jamaica and South Africa, and was pretested in Ghana and Sierra Leone.
