World Diabetes Day, MPP aims to support the lifelong journey of people with diabetes

On World Diabetes Day, we join the World Health Organisation in highlighting that diabetes can affect people at every stage of life. This year’s theme, “Diabetes across life stages,” reminds us of the unique challenges faced by women during pregnancy.

We spoke with Mridula Kapil Bhargava and Alyson Bancroft, two inspiring women living with Type1diabetes who recently became mothers. Their stories reveal stark differences in access to care across countries—and why WHO’s new recommendations on diabetes in pregnancy are so critical.
